The family of Daniel Ogoh, a postgraduate student at a UK university who was thought to have recently visited Nigeria, has expressed concerns about his whereabouts.
Daniel, a 27-year-old man at 6.1 feet tall, landed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on May 5th, according to his family, and his whereabouts have been unknown since.
Daniel’s uncle, Mr. Imade Osamede, stated that Daniel’s name appeared on the manifest of individuals who arrived on the specified date and that he was cleared by Airport Immigration because he had no criminal history.
To the family’s dismay, the visit went wrong when the returnee failed to return home and has not been seen by any known family member, friend, or associate since then.
Attempts to locate him using his phone numbers have similarly proved unsuccessful. Worried about the terrible possibilities, the family launched a frantic search for him and reported the incident to law officials.
So far, the search and investigations have not shed any light on the issue.
“This is really strange and unfortunate. I don’t understand how somebody will arrive all the way from Europe and disappear into the thin air in his country. This has thrown the parents and other family members into emotional trauma. This is a very dark and agonising moment for us.” Imade Osamede, his uncle, said in a tearful tone.
The source begged anyone with valuable information on the situation to submit it to the nearest police station or contact the family through the following phone numbers. +2349035440301, and +2348167082786.
