The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned that wearing the face mask incorrectly could put the user and others close to them at risk of contracting COVID-19.
In an advisory by the NCDC, the centre for disease control said wearing a mask incorrectly can put “you and others at risk” of COVID-19.
Charging Nigerians to take responsibility in the fight against coronavirus, the NCDC listed four ways not to wear the mask.
“Do not pull below the nose,” the NCDC said in a tweet that was accompanied by a picture showing how not to wear the mask.
“Do not leave hanging from one ear, do not pull below the chin and do not hang around the neck,” the NCDC said.
