Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has announced that 90 coronavirus patients have fully recovered and have being discharged by the state government.
Sanwo-Olu, the COVID-19 Lagos Incident Commander said 30 females and 60 males were discharged.
He said, “I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, 90 fully recovered COVID-19 Lagos patients; 30 females and 60 males, were discharged to join the society.
“The patients; 28 from Onikan, 9 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 10 from Agidingbi, 5 from Gbagada, 2 from First Cardiology, 10 from Lekki and 26 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Isolation facilities is now 1137.
“As our front line health workers records successes in this battle against COVID-19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to our public advisories and directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection.
