The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has given interested applicants more time to complete the recruitment application by extending the application deadline.

The CDCFIB, in a statement signed by the board’s secretary, A M Jibril, released on Sunday, announced that the application deadline has been extended by one week.

“The board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for application for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one (1) week,” the statement read in part.

The board’s secretary added that the recruitment portal, which was initially set to close on August 4, will now remain open until August 11.

According to Jibril, the board made this decision to provide interested applicants additional opportunity to be enlisted in any of their desired paramilitary services.

The CDCFIB secretary emphasised that the recruitment process attracts no financial cost. He also reiterated the board’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process for interested applicants.

Interested applicants are to visit https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/, which is the authentic recruitment portal as instructed by the board.
