Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave the country on Friday for a medical follow-up, his spokesman said.
In a statement released on Thursday evening, Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President
(Media and Publicity) said he is expected back in Nigeria in the second week of July.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will proceed to London, the United Kingdom on Friday, June 25, 2021, for a scheduled medical follow-up.
“He is due back in the country during the second week of July, 2021,” he added.
The nature of the follow-up was not stated in the statement issued by Adesina.
