A BRT bus caught fire on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge on Wednesday morning, multiple eyewitnesses have said.
The lengthy bus moving into Iyana-Oworo caught fire right after the bridge’s Adeniji Adele axis.
Despite the fact that no casualties have been reported as of the time of reporting this report, the accident has resulted in a considerable traffic jam on the bridge.
The Lagos Fire Department and LASTMA officials are on the scene to extinguish the fire and manage traffic.
Last month, a BRT bus collided with a Lagos train killing at least two persons. The driver of the bus was arrested and arraigned.
