A bridge has collapsed on Enugu along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway on Monday.
Dan Nwomeh, the Head of Media in the Office of Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, announced this on his X account, formerly Twitter.
According to Nwomeh, the government has advised vehicles to avoid the route in the state that connects New Artisan and Naira Triangle.
He noted that federal and state officials were already on the scene attempting to mitigate the damage.
He, however did not disclose if there were casualties from the collapse of the Bridge.
