    Two people have been killed while over 100 were kidnapped by armed bandits in two separate attacks in Sokoto state.

    The hoodlums committed the dastardly act after mounting road blocks on two major highways in the state to ambush the unsuspecting passengers.

    The incident was confirmed by the general manager of Sokoto Mass transit who raised the alarm that one of their buses conveying buses was ambushed and the passengers abducted.

    According to him, the driver and one other passenger escaped but sadly, the same could not be said for the rest of the commuters.
