Sen. Mohammed Sani-Musa of the All Progressives Congress has been re-elected to the National Assembly for Niger.
The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Prof. Tsado Mohammed-Shaba, announced the results on Monday in Minna.
According to Mohammed-Shaba, Sani-Musa received 159,650 votes, defeating Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 125,292 votes.
Mr. Joshu Bawa of the Labour Party received 35, 941 votes.
