Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, has had her burial preparations formally revealed by her family.
The burial is slated for November 29, 2024, with a funeral service at her country house in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
Her husband, Governor Umo Eno, along with the grieving family and the state government, made these preparations to commemorate her profound life and lasting legacy.
Enobong Uwah, Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, issued an official notification about her funeral on Friday.
Uwah expressed the family’s appreciation for the outpouring of love and support from around the country.
“We are deeply thankful for the overwhelming prayers, tributes, and comforting words during this profoundly difficult period,” Uwah stated.
He urged friends and well-wishers to join the family in the series of planned events to honour Pastor Patience Eno’s life.
