Chief Ajuri Ngelale, former Special Assistant to the President, Media and Publicity, was fired by the President Bola Tinubu administration, according to controversial self-acclaimed retired journalist Kemi Olunloyo.

Olunloyo made the statement while reacting to Ngelale’s indefinite leave from his official duties to the president.

Chronicle NG reports on Saturday that Ngelale announced his stepping aside from his duties as aide to the president due to pressing medical emergencies affecting his immediate family.

However, Olunloyo, in a statement on X on Saturday, mentioned that the presidential aide was “fired” by his principal.

“Earlier today, at 1. p.m., I told you that Ajuri Ngelale was fired,” she said.

She also described as a “coverup lie” the former presidential aide’s claims that he is embarking on indefinite leave because of the medical situation of his family.

“They recycled him from Buhari’s failed government; they fired him. That whole medical thing is a coverup lie manipulated by the administration,” she alleged.

Furthermore, she advised the Tinubu-led administration to do away with underperforming ministers.

“The whole team at the Presidency needs to be reshuffled and replaced, including several useless ministers,” she added.
