All 215 returnees from the United Kingdom have received clearance certificate from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), at their Abuja Isolation Center on Saturday.
All the returnees, according to the clearance certificate tested negative to the coronavirus.
They were subsequently discharged all returnees and allowed to head to their various destination as Nigeria makes frantic efforts to contain spread of the virus.
The Center for Disease Control did not disclose their personalities and travel history in line with its privacy laws.
The law establishes national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health information and applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically.
Meanwhile, NCDC has stressed that a PCR test is carried out to determine whether a person has the virus that causes COVID-19.
The Centre says it is currently the most reliable method that can determine if the virus is present in the body, even in those who show no symptoms.
