Mudashiru Obasa, Mojisola Meranda, and all other lawmakers from the Lagos State House of Assembly are currently gathering outside the chambers.
According to reports, the meeting is taking place ahead of a plenary session that was originally set at 1pm.
The conference is also attended by leaders from the state branch of the All Progressives Congress, including Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi.
The meeting is also attended by Lawal Pedro (SAN), the state attorney general.
Unconfirmed rumors say that Meranda is poised to resign today, sparking speculation that the House’s leadership issue may be over.
Obasa arrived around 1:30pm to join the lawmakers for the meeting, which was conducted under a tent.
At the time of filing this report, Obasa, Meranda, Ojelabi, and the AG have separated from the lawmakers to convene another meeting.
