Omar Marmoush stole the show with a sensational first-half hat-trick as Manchester City cruised to a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.

The win extended Manchester City’s dominant home record against the Magpies to 16 consecutive victories in the Premier League.

Bouncing back from a midweek defeat to Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola’s side wasted no time asserting control. Their breakthrough came in the 19th minute when goalkeeper Ederson launched a long ball forward, setting up Marmoush for a composed lob over Martin Dubravka—his first goal in City colors.

The Egyptian forward struck again just five minutes later, slotting a precise low finish past Dubravka after an assist from İlkay Gündoğan.

Manchester City continued to pile on the pressure, and before halftime, Savinho delivered a pinpoint pass into the box, allowing Marmoush to smash home his third goal with a first-time finish.

Despite Newcastle’s attempts to respond, City’s defense remained resolute. Ederson was called into action to deny a swerving strike from Lewis Miley, while Dubravka kept out efforts from Savinho and Erling Haaland.

However, City added a final flourish in the 84th minute when James McAtee volleyed home from Haaland’s flicked header, sealing a dominant win.

The victory lifts City to fourth in the Premier League table, while Newcastle suffer their third defeat in four games, slipping further behind in the race for a Champions League spot.
