Man Utd fans want Gareth Bale signing

Manchester United fans have urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign Gareth Bale, who is set to end his six-year spell at Real Madrid.

Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane has confirmed the Welshman is “close to leaving” the Bernabeu.

What’s more, the Frenchman said “it would be best for everyone” if Bale, 30, left Madrid as soon as possible.

After Zidane left the winger out of the 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich, he said: “We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done.

“I have to make decisions. We have to change.

“The exit is the coach’s decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.

“The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will – and it’s a good thing for everyone.”

And Red Devils fans are hoping they could finally land their man now that it’s been made clear Real Madrid desperately want to get rid of him.

One tweeted: “United should try and get Bale since he’s in a mess at the moment.”

While another added: “Would I take Bale at Manchester United? Absolutely. Speculation about him going to Bayern Munich… my man struggled with Spanish you think he wanna learn German?”

A third said: “I reckon Man United are just waiting for the last days before the season starts to announce Bale.”

Another wrote: “We can take Bale on loan, if that’s possible. Low risk like Falcao, if it’s not working out.”

And one tweeted: “Bale is welcomed at United… Just saying…”

Bale, who joined Real Madrid in 2013 for a world-record £86million has been a long-term transfer target for United.

But he has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern, China and a romantic return to Tottenham.
