    Nigerian comic actor John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday while still in the hospital.

    This was revealed in a video posted on his Instagram page.

    In the video, Mr Ibu was seen in a hospital ward wearing a patient gown, with some of his relatives around to celebrate his special day.

    In his appreciation speech, he said, “I pray that God will continue to grant our efforts and give us peace in life.”

    Social media users also commented with prayers of healing for the actor.

    • This is my fifth and worst marriage – Mr Ibu 

    Popekingsolo said, “He’s really in pain.”God will heal you soon.”

    Another user, naijabobo, recalled the actor’s roles on stage, saying, “This man really made us laugh so hard. May God heal you. Happy birthday, sir.”

    Vin_vivy2 also commented, “Happy birthday, Legend. Get well soon.”
