In the wake of coordinated U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a forceful message of praise for U.S. President Donald Trump, calling the operation a historic moment that would reshape the Middle East.

Netanyahu lauded Trump’s decision to launch the strikes — part of what is being called Operation Rising Line — as a bold and transformative move.

In a televised statement following the assault, Netanyahu declared, “Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history.”

While Israel was widely reported to have assisted in targeting intelligence and coordination for the operation, Netanyahu emphasized the unmatched scale and impact of American action.

“In Operation Rising Line, Israel has done truly amazing things. But in tonight’s action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, America has been truly unsurpassed. It has done what no other country on Earth could do.”

The strikes, confirmed by the Pentagon to have hit three major Iranian nuclear sites, have drawn international attention and raised global concerns over escalation in the region. U.S. officials said the operation was “surgical and strategic,” aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear capability without targeting civilian infrastructure.

Netanyahu defended the action as a necessary measure to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran, describing the Islamic Republic as “the world’s most dangerous regime.”

“History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons. so
His leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace.”

Touting a long-shared philosophy between himself and Trump, Netanyahu added:

“President Trump and I often say, peace through strength. First comes strength, then comes peace. And tonight, President Trump and the United States will be together to fight for peace.”

He ended his address with a reaffirmation of the U.S.-Israel alliance and a spiritual appeal:

“God bless America, God bless Israel, and may God bless our unshakable alliance, our unbreakable faith.”

The Israeli leader’s remarks come amid swift international reactions. Iran has vowed retaliation, while U.N. officials have called for restraint and diplomatic engagement. Meanwhile, pro-Trump voices in Washington have framed the operation as a defining moment of his presidency.

Analysts say the strike marks a significant escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions and could have long-term implications for regional and global stability.

The United States has carried out successful airstrikes in Iran, destroying nuclear sites in the Arab nation. This was announced in a statement on X by US President Donald Trump on Sunday. According to the statement, the successful airstrike led to the destruction of three nuclear sites in Iran. Trump disclosed that “a full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary sites” in Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan, turning the nuclear sites into ruins. This intervention by the US comes after protracted airstrikes between Israel and Iran, which have led to the death of over 200 people and the destruction of properties. In a bid to stop Iran from the completion of its nuclear weapons, Israel launched missile strikes into Iran last Friday, killing some army chiefs and nuclear scientists. In retaliation, the Arab nation attacked Tel Aviv with nuclear weapons, targeting residential areas and even a hospital in Beersheba, Southern Israel. In a bid to quell the hostilities between both nations, Trump demanded the “unconditional surrender” of Iran, a call which infuriated the Supreme Leader of Iran, who vowed never to surrender. According to Trump, all US fighter jets which carried out the bombings in Iran have successfully returned to American soil with no casualties recorded. “We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz and Estahan,” Trump said. “All planes are now outside of Iran airspace,” he added. “A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. “All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our very great warriors. There is not another military in the world that could have done this; now is the time for peace. “Thank you for your attention to this matter,” the US president added. At the time of filing this report, Iran had yet to confirm the attack; however, its Supreme Leader, who has gone into hiding in underground bunkers for fear of assassination, had threatened to attack America in the event it carries out an attack in Iran.
