Nigerian comedian and Nollywood actor Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly called Seyi Law has tendered an unreserved apology to the Igbos over his interference in their culture, tradition, and politics.

In a statement published on his X page on Monday, Seyi Law noted that the apology comes on the heels of his meeting with his friend, Noble Chibuzor Igwe.

Seyi Law noted that he apologised to Noble Igwe over any of his tweets he may have found insultive to his people, the Igbos.

The comedian also vowed to stay away from the politics, culture, and tradition of the Igbos.

Seyi Law’s statement reads, “I spoke with my brother, Noble Igwe @Nobsdaslushhkid and he has my utmost respect for his responsibility to his people, and I personally tendered my apology to him for any of my tweets that he found distasteful towards the Igbos.

“I have since desist from interfering with the Igbos, their politics, and historical perspectives, no matter my reservations.

“For the sake of Noble‘s humility and my understanding of his perspective, I tender an unreserved apology to the Igbos and will keep away from their politics, history, culture, and tradition.

“I owe him that much for also reaching out to my wife.”
