Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has turned down a ₦100 million offer to fight social media critic Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. He prefers a ₦1 billion price.
The feud between the singer and the online personality erupted after Portable openly criticised VDM for attacking President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Since then, both parties have engaged in a furious exchange on social media, releasing diss recordings and hurling verbal barbs as their feud gained steam online.
In a viral video, Portable rebuffed the ₦100 million offer as insufficient, alleging that he receives similar amounts from his fan base.
“That ₦100m, my fans give it to me. ₦100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion; I will fight him and beat him,” he said.
“If anybody can drop ₦1bn, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, and you are now asking me to fight and beat him.
“You are scared of him; you can’t jail him,” Portable said.
