Folarin Falana, the Nigerian rapper better known as Falz, has fired back at people constantly pestering him about marriage.
In a post via X on Wednesday, the ‘Soft Work’ hitmaker vented his frustration, bluntly telling fans and critics to back off.
“Any small thing, “when are you getting married?” Can everybody kindly fokofff?” the post reads.
In July 2024, Falz opened up about his uncertainty regarding getting married.
The rapper revealed that as a celebrity, he struggles to envision what an ideal married life would look like for him.
The same year, the songwriter said he has not been in any romantic relationship with anyone since 2008 because he feels he is “not ready”.
Recently, Falz disclosed he remains single at age 34 because he hasn’t found anybody that “likes me”.
He also revealed that he has never told anyone “I love you” in a romantic context although he has expressed deep affection when he felt strongly about someone.
On Monday, Falz sparked heated reactions on social media, especially among religious groups, after declaring that “fornication is not a sin”.
His stance drew criticism from many Christians and conservative voices, who referenced biblical scriptures that label fornication as “immoral” and accused the rapper of promoting “ungodly values”.
