    Olabode Oladipupo Tawose also known as Bodman knows a thing or two about entrepreneurship. In his experience as an entrepreneur, he can categorically tell you that, “entertainment is not a thing for pleasure or gratification”.

    Olabode Tawose is a young Nigerian-born entrepreneur, who according to him ” decided to see the positive, and advantageous side of everything in life.”

    He is a staunch entrepreneur with a great drive and despite the undisputable dire situation of Nigeria’s economy, Olabode has taken to businesses from an early age as a student.

    He – Olabode was born and bred in Ogudu Ore-Oke, area of Lagos state. He attended the Tender Care Nursery and Primary School, Madegbe Nursery and Primary School and later went on to Ogudu Grammar School and Maryland Comprehensive School.

    Olabode eventually graduated from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria as a BSc holder in Accounting with a second class.

    After graduation from school, Olabode had gone on into agricultural business, buying and selling, export and international businesses which see him globetrotting.

    Entrepreneurship itself is a thing of fun, he said. Though he has had his own share of ups and downs as most entrepreneurs would tell. However, challenges motivate him and everywhere he had met with failure he had returned there to take success.

    According to Olabode Tawose, “I strongly believe that through determination and commitment, anything is possible. Entrepreneurship is definitely not for the faint-hearted… business teaches you resilience.”

    Olabode has always been a fun lover and outgoing person who followed entertainment passionately from childhood. After being successful in his agricultural, export and a few other businesses, he thought it was a perfect time for him to launch into another business of his great passion – and that is entertainment.

    According to Olabode Tawose, there are so many talents across the world, and particularly on the African streets who are constantly seeking ways to be unveiled. This is what inspired him towards creating an entertainment empire, not just music production but including filming, and cinematography studios.

    Olabode Tawose founded Bodman Entertainment Ltd, comprising of Bodman Records, and Bodman Studios. Earlier this year 2021, Bodman Records released an album titled “Nigerian-South African,” displaying the holding of Nigeria and South Africa by its Bodman Entertainment Label.

    Bodman Entertainment has signed a trailblazer upcoming artiste called, Hybrid to announce its arrival in Africa’s entertainment sphere. The Chairman/CEO of Bodman Entertainment – Olabode sounds so confident about the new artiste, Hybrid, he calls him his “retirement plan”.

    Hybrid has dropped a new single, titled “Overdose“, including its music video which is already receiving airplay. Hybrid had just concluded a recording with Peruzzi of Davido’s DMW crew.

    The Bodman Entertainment company is also currently working with Omashola of the Big Brother Naija fame. The Label has released a song with the famous Magnito Freshout of South Africa, titled “Shakara”, also featuring Bodman – Olabode himself.

    When asked what Bodman seek to change or do differently in the entertainment industry locally and globally. The CEO said;

    “The entertainment industry on its own has been one of the hopes of the people from all happenings in the nation, the continent and the world at large. Bodman Records tend to uplift, not change, just a little more in reaching the depth of the street. A hood boy should write his own story and make his way to the top with his song, not someone singing what is usually done on the street they were not part of. The specifics are what Bodman Records’ focus is on”

    The Chairman/CEO of Bodman Entertainment and Founder/CEO of the Tawose Fresh Farms is nowhere close to stopping on his entrepreneurial escapade, he said his goal is “all about creating generational wealth”. Born to Hon. Nimbe Tawose, Olabode believe he owes all he does to his family, wife and children.

    Olabode, described by his friends and associates is a person not just passionate about his business, but much more is very passionate about people – especially young. He is always seeking ways to help others.
