    Davido bags three Grammy nominations, says “delay is not denial”

    Nigerian international musician David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has been nominated for three different Grammy Awards categories.

    The multiple award-winning artist earned a nomination for the Best African Performance category for his hit single ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys.

    He also earned a nomination for the Best Global Music Performance category for his single ‘Feel’ while picking up his third nomination for the Best Global Album category for his record-breaking fourth album, ‘Timeless.’

    Reacting to his nominations, the elated musician took to his verified X handle, where he said, “3 nominations. Delay is not denial.” 

    • Davido, Burna Boy make 2024 Grammy nomination

    This is the first time the “If” crooner has been nominated for the prestigious award.

    Other Nigerian superstars who got nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards include Burna Boy, Arya Starr, Ckay, Asake, Olamide, and Seun Kuti.

    The Nigerian musicians were all nominated for the maiden African music category, with Davido for his hit single ‘Unavailable’, Burna Boy for ‘City Boy’, Ayra Starr for ‘Rush’, and Asake for ‘Amapiano’ featuring Olamide.
