The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 664 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 664 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 31987.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 308 patients from isolation centers across the country with 15 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 224 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 12275.
Federal Capital Territory recorded 105 new cases, Edo state reported 85 new cases while Ondo, Kaduna, and Imo recorded 64, 32 and 27 new cases respectively.
Other states are Osun-19, Plateau-17, Oyo-17, Ogun-17, Rivers-14, Delta-11, Adamawa-10, Enugu-7, Nassarawa-6, Gombe-3, Abia-3 and Ekiti-3.
NCDC reports that there are 31987 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 13103 discharged and 724 deaths.
