The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 386 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 386 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 43537.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 522 patients from isolation centers across the country with four new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 65 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 15186.
But it was the Federal Capital Territory that recorded the single highest number of cases for the day with 130 new cases.
Ondo state recorded 37 new cases, Osun reported 54 new cases while Plateau, Rivers and Enugu recorded 47, 32 and 23 new cases respectively.
Other states are Nasarawa-12, Bayelsa-11, Ebonyi-11, Ekiti-9, Oyo-8, Edo-8, Abia-6, Ogun-3, Katsina-3, Imo-1 and Adamawa-1.
NCDC reports that there are 43537 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 20,087 discharged and 883 deaths.
