Standard Chartered Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday announced how Nigerians can convert their foreign currency to naira online.
The initiative by the bank will bridge the gap for many Nigerians in Diaspora who have struggled to convert money to send back to Nigeria real time.
According to Standard Chartered, its digital banking platforms offer the ability to easily convert the US dollars (USD) /euro (EUR) /pounds (GBP) in your domiciliary account to naira (NGN).
“With just a few taps on our SC Mobile App or Online banking platforms, you can instantly convert your foreign currency into naira.
“To get started, simply log in to your SC Mobile app or Online Banking, select Transfer then click on “Between Own Accounts”.
“Please note the transaction limit for this cross-currency transfer is $50,000 per day. For transfers above $50,000, please visit any of our branches,” the bank said in a statement to customers.
