The Nigerian government has announced the resumption of international flights from the 29 August.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika made the announcement via his official Twitter account.
“Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020,” he said in his tweet.
The Minister explained that only Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria’s capital will resume international activities.
“Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.
He added that all protocols must be observed. “Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.
Nigeria has been recording low cases of coronavirus in the last two weeks as well as fewer deaths too.
