Customers of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) have continued to lament the poor service they get from the bank’s mobile application popularly known as GTWorld mobile app.

This is as numerous customers of the commercial bank have not been able to access their various accounts through the bank mobile app.

In a post via his X handle, former presidential aide, Tolu Ogunlesi berated the bank for not informing its customers on the development.

“Would be nice for @gtbank to at least acknowledge to customers that their banking app is down and has been for a while. And give a sense of how soon it’ll be back up. Silence shouldn’t be an option.” he said

An angry customer of the bank, Boluwaji Akinlade expressing her displeasure said “GTBank is on a rubbish behaviour. This is so annoying. Nothing was wrong with your old app version. Who sent you people work to update? Who?”

“Gtbank is gradually becoming so useless in the banking industry; they are worst with internet services, especially at weekends and, poor customer care services, which I became a victim, resulting in me losing over N2m to conmen in less than 2hrs. If they are tired of banking business, they should please join politics because that is where failures are celebrated with huge resources allocated to defend stupidity.” another X user, Idowu Bankole tweeted.

Jerry Durojaiye another X user said, “Opening and running an account with GTBank should be added to 1000 ways to die”

“Gtbank! Please, what’s the matter with your operations oooo? My May 2024 pension hasn’t been paid to my account; whereas my colleagues in other banks have been paid since the 28th of May! Please let us know what’s the matter is.” Omole Oluyemi a pensioner posted via his X handle.
