In celebration of Bob-Manuel Obidimma Udoku’s 60th birthday, which will be celebrated on April 18, 2023, President Muhammadu Buhari sent him warm birthday wishes.
Nollywood, where the renowned actor has dominated for many years and appeared in more than 200 films, also joined in the celebration.
The second-largest film industry in the world, with a strong global presence and recognition, was structured by Bob-Manuel, who served in various capacities as an actor, director, and producer. Buhari noted this in a statement released on Monday by Femi Adesina, Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
The actor’s bravery in entering politics and holding public office, running for office in his home state of Anambra, and collaborating with three governments as Senior Special Assistant, New Media, and Special Adviser on Entertainment, Leisure, and Tourism was praised by the President.
As Bob-Manuel clocks 60, President Buhari believes his experience in the creative and entertainment industry will always be relevant, especially in mentoring younger people in career choices.
The President prayed for the well-being of the multiple award-winning thespians and his family.
