    A member of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ogunnika Abosede has emerged as the winner of the grand prize of 10,000 naira at the maiden edition of the Anchor Bible Quiz competition.

    Abosede won the award by defeating ten other contestants in the bible quiz which was held at the Anchor studio in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

    Speaking at the event, the President of the Ministry (Golden Anchor Of God Bible Ministry a.k.a. Anchor Bible Quiz – Interdenominational and non-denominational), Mr. Adekunle Abraham said the programme was organized to motivate Christians especially youths to move more closer to the word of God.

    The President explained that the organization is trying to make the Bible quiz which has been in existence since 2014 a monthly programme.

    Anchor Bible Quiz is open to all Christians irrespective of their denomination and monthly quiz will be showing live on Anchor Bible Quiz YouTube channel every Saturday and it’s absolutely free and easy to participate, just send “ANCHOR space YOUR NAME space LOCATION space EMAIL space TEL” to 35818.

    He also said the winner of the next edition would be given 20,000 as the grand prize, adding that, gifts and certificate would be given to other participants.

    “The mission of the bible quiz is to propagate the undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of social networking; initiating people’s minds especially youths towards the consciousness of the word of God even as they relate and socialize on all online platforms through the use of Biblical quizzes and realities as a daily obligation,” he said.

    “It is also to congregate Christians (especially youths) from different denominations around the world through the use of WORD in form of daily quiz. This will encourage youths to move closer to their bible.”
