Officers of Abraka Police Station in Abraka town, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State, on regular patrol around Campus 3 of Delta State University, DELSU, killed a suspected kidnapper During an exchange of gunfire and captured another with significant gunshot injuries. A resident has reportedly been killed by suspected kidnappers who also abducted three persons, including two traditional rulers in Balma village, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and leading human rights attorney Femi Falana has requested that the Department of State Services (DSS) hand over suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for a thorough investigation.
