The Federal Government has introduced a fee of N1,000 to be paid by all motorists annually for Proof of Ownership Certificate (POC) verification. A boat mishap off the coast of Mbo Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State has reportedly led to the deaths of about 10 people. It was gathered that of the 10 victims, five, who hailed from the Udung Uko Local Government Area of the state, were from the same family.
