According to the Ondo State Command, three suspects have reportedly been arrested over the alleged murder of a navel officer identified as Akingbohunmi in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of the state. Akingbohunmi was allegedly attacked by hoodlums on Monday following an argument with a commercial motorcyclist. Lance Corporal Martins Idakpini, who had been detained since June 2020 on the orders of the then Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has been released. On Wednesday, Swedish police authorities permitted a Quran-burning demonstration outside a mosque in central Stockholm. According to state daily Al-Ahram, at least five people including a child were killed and four more were injured after a building collapsed in Monday in Alexandria, Egypt. Gabriel Ekpiri, a resident of Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has been arrested by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
