Cheering protestors stormed Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s palace on Monday after she escaped, marking the end of more than a month of deadly anti-government demonstrations.  On Monday morning, jubilant crowds waved flags in Dhaka’s streets, with some dancing on top of a tank, before hundreds crashed past the gates of Hasina’s official residence. Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre. Bobrisky was released on Monday after spending six months in incarceration for spraying and abusing the naira at parties. Security operatives dispersed protesters in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT on Monday. The demonstrators were just assembling when security agents went after them and arrested three. The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that an autopsy will be conducted on the corpse of Aribemchukwu, the murdered daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia. Chronicle NG reported that the deceased, popularly called Chuchu, was killed in her Parkview Estate residence in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State. President Bola Tinubu said on Sunday that the federal government has granted N570 billion to the 36 states to expand livelihood support for their populations.  He also claimed that Nigeria spends N2 trillion per month to buy Premium Motor Spirit, generally known as petrol, and Automotive Gas Oil, or diesel.
