Some suspected kidnappers abducted a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Christiana Idowu, along the Ikorodu-Yaba Road last week. A moving train crushed and killed a yet-to-be-identified man in the Mushin area of Lagos State.  The incident was said to have occurred at 6 p.m. on Monday while the deceased was wandering along the Cappa railway tracks.
