A bricklayer, Adamo Aliyu, recently arrested alongside four others for robbery and murder said he has lost count of the number of people he killed. Aliyu, who lives in Ikire, Osun State, his friend, Yusuf Idris and three others paraded by the state police command in Osogbo allegedly conspired with others and killed a petrol station manager, Fatai Adigun at Aku Area of Ikire. US President Joe Biden has warned Russia not to use chemical or tactical nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine. Speaking during an interview with CBS News, Mr Biden said such action would “change the face of war unlike anything since World War Two”. He would not say what response the US would make to the use of such weapons. The National Security Council, on Thursday, declared the National Task Force on the Prohibition of Illegal Importation/Smuggling of Arms, Ammunition, Light Weapons, Chemical and Pipeline Vandalism illegal. At least two Nigerians have been reportedly killed and 12 others rescued while aboard the Ophelia Panana ship off the shores of Gbanken Beach in Grand Kru Town. The beach is about five kilometers from Grand Cess City. Those killed on the ship were identified as Frank and Osas Velurobo.
