The All Progressives Congress, APC, has fixed a price for its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms, it was put at N100 million. The staggering sum for nomination form was disclosed shortly after the 11th National Executive Meeting held on Wednesday in Abuja. Two men were on Wednesday docked in an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for stealing 8,924,000 kilogram of gas worth N5. 2 million. The police charged John Ameh, 22 and Adenuga Sherif, 40, whose addresses were not given, with conspiracy and felony to wit stealing. They pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them. The prosecution counsel, Inspector John Iberedem, said the defendants committed the offence between February and April at No. 15, Abike Jokogbade street, Sholebo Estate area of Ikorodu, Lagos. Canada on Tuesday said it was imposing targeted sanctions on 14 individuals in the Russian regime, including on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s two adult daughters, according to a statement from the foreign ministry. Health officials say they are now investigating unexplained cases of hepatitis in children in four European countries and the US. Cases of hepatitis, or liver inflammation, have been reported in Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain and the US, health officials say. Last week UK health authorities said they had detected higher than usual cases of the infection among children. The cause of the infections is not yet known. An Igando Customary Court on Tuesday dissolved the union between Mr Taofeek Muritala and Mrs Jelilat Muritala on grounds of frequent fighting, lack of love and sexual starvation.
