Igbo groups have knocked activist, Kenechukwu Okeke, for suing 50 persons before a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja over their alleged roles in last month’s #EndSARS protests. Okeke alleged that during the protest, his properties were destroyed and that the defendants, who promoted the #EndSARS protests, must be brought to justice. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has approved free transportation for indigenes who intend to return home for the yuletide. Africa’s premier boxing show, GOtv Boxing Night will, on 27 November, make a return at the Rowe Park Sports Centre, Lagos. This was announced in Lagos yesterday by Flykite Productions, organisers of the show, who explained that the show will be held behind closed doors in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols. The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has concluded arrangements to hold its first virtual Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) Awards. This was announced in a statement signed by AAAN Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Temitope Jemerigbe. The former governor of Kaduna state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, is dead, a top member of his political party said on Wednesday. His death was confirmed Wednesday morning by a leading member of his People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Senator Shehu Sani. Musa, a left-wing politician, was elected governor of Kaduna during the Second Republic.
