There will be a total blackout in Itire and its environs of Lagos as the Management of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has proposed a four-hour power outage due to routine maintenance. The maintenance which would necessitate the power outage is expected to be carried out on equipment at the Itire 132KV Transmission Sub-Station in Lagos on March 27. The schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram jihadist group in Dapchi, northeastern Nigeria, were reunited with their families on Sunday after spending nearly five weeks in captivity.
