The kidnapped lecturer of the Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa, Prof. Gideon Okedayo, has been found dead. Okedayo, of the Department of Mathematical Sciences and acting Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies in the university, was kidnapped on Sept. 5 on his way to his hometown in Igara, Edo State. Okedayo’s decomposing body was found on September 9 in the bush, where his abductors held him. Two suspects, including an army deserter, were on Tuesday arrested by the police in Adamawa for robbing a woman of her car at gunpoint. The Adamawa Police Command spokesman, DSP Suleiman Yahaya, confirmed the development to newsmen in Yola. The National Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP) which will be commissioned by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in Adamawa state on Tuesday is not the same as the suspended Rural Grazing Area plan (RUGA).
