Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested six fraudsters who specialize in defrauding innocent Nigerians by using bank details obtained through sim swaps and Automated Teller Machines (ATM). Nasarawa State House of Assembly has approved the request of the state government to secure N5 billion bond from the capital market to undertake vital projects across the state. Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele announced announces N1.1trn COIVD-19 intervention fund

With effect from September 17, 2019, the CBN has approved for banks to unbundle merchant settlement amounts and charge applicable taxes and duties on individual transactions as stipulated by regulations. This will further promote a cash-less economy and enhance the collection of applicable government revenues, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced a review of the process for merchant settlement.
