Airtel Nigeria on Friday announced that it had added 0904 number series to its numbering range, following the approval of the industry regulator, Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC). Fire has gutted Amu Plank and Building Material market in Mushin, Lagos state destroying properties worth hundreds of millions in the early morning of Saturday, Chronicle NG reports. An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Friday remanded one unemployed Charles Eze in the Ikoyi Custodial Centre, after he pleaded guilty to stealing 16 Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) cards and some Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards. The police arraigned 33-year-old Eze together with Raphael Nwachukwu, 36, before  Chief Magistrate T. A. Ojo. The defendants, whose residential addresses were not given, are facing charges of conspiracy and stealing. NAN reports that while Eze admitted guilt, Nwachukwu pleaded not guilty. Six people have been killed and others wounded in a shooting in the south-west German town of Rot am See. A suspect was arrested after the attack, which happened in a building close to the railway station.
