Fire service hits 10-minute emergency response time

Operatives of the Federal Fire Service in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital have put out the fire that gutted the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The media centre of INEC was involved in a fire incident on Friday, April 17, 2020. Providing an update on the fire incident, the official Twitter account of the Federal Fire Service said the fire had been put out. “Our men have successfully extinguished the fire that gutted INEC headquarters, Abuja,” the tweet read.
