Mrs. Olabowale Ademola is wife of Justice Adeniyi Ademola enmeshed in a bribery scandal
Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has tactically eased out the current Head of Service, HOS, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola who is enmesh in alleged bribery scandal with her husband, Justice Adeniyi Ademola.

The governor has appointed Mrs Folashade Sidikatu Adesoye as acting HOS.

PM News gathered that the decision was taken because the image of the State Government is being smeared following her arraignment in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over allegation of corrupt practices.

An Abuja High Court on Tuesday granted bail to the duo in the sum of N50 million each and adjourned trial into their matter until January 18.

The two were arraigned by Federal Government on 11-count of criminal conspiracy to receive gratification in various ways, contrary to Section 8(1)(a) of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Act 2000.

Justice Ademola was among the seven justices investigated after the sting operations carried out on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 by the Department of State Services (DSS).

However, Ambode late on Wednesday acted swiftly by appointing Adesoye as acting HOS.

Adesoye, was until her appointment the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA.
