Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has reportedly taken a fourth wife.
According to reports, the 32-year-old footballer, currently signed with Kano Pillars FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), is said to have held a simple and private wedding ceremony on Friday, attended by close friends and teammates.
Musa’s latest marriage comes four years after his quiet wedding to Maryam Adamu Jajere from Yobe State.
His first marriage to Jamila Musa in 2013 produced two children before ending in divorce in 2017.
He later married Juliet Ejue from Cross River State and was linked to a third wife, Fatima.
While full details remain under wraps, the woman at the centre of Musa’s latest union has been identified as Asma’u.
As a practising Muslim, he is entitled to marry multiple wives, so long as he can take good care of all of them.
The Super Eagles captain, who has a record 110 international appearances for Nigeria at senior level, has had a successful career, playing for clubs in the Netherlands, Russia, England, Turkey and Saudi Arabia before returning to hometown club Kano Pillars last year.
