President Muhammadu Buhari has regarded All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a priceless political asset. He commended his concerted efforts in lifting the party to its current height.
This comment became necessary after several rumors that President Buhari is at loggerheads with Jagaban. He noted that Tinubu’s remarkable efforts in supporting APC in the recent Ondo Governorship election is remarkable.
Buahari’s senior special assistant on Media and Publicity noted in a statement that the president is shocked by frivolous rumors trailing his relationship with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It was said in the statement that “President Buhari commended Tinubu’s spirit of comradeship in promptly congratulating Rotimi Akeredolu who was elected governor.
“The President also noted that at a time his administration is preoccupied with governance issues, rumours of divisions and alleged scheming within the party are counterproductive to internal unity and cohesion in APC.
“He appealed to the APC members and supporters to ignore rumours that could harm party unity.”
