Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos are currently staging a protest at the Lagos State House of Assembly, demanding the removal of the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.

Protesters, thought to be from all 57 Local Council Development Areas, LCDA, were seen carrying placards that read “Ojelabi Must Go” and “We Want Fresh Leadership.”

The demonstration, which began earlier today, has garnered a large security presence, with police officers stationed around the Assembly complex to prevent a breakdown in law and order.
