Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his resounding victory in the September 21, 2024, Edo State Governorship Election.

Joshua Ilevbare, TCO National Coordinator, said in a statement that Senator Okpebholo’s victory reflects the clear mandate that the vast majority of Edo State’s indigenous people across all 18 local governments gave him.

The organization, describing him as the people’s choice, said Senator Okpebholo’s genuine concern, unalloyed love, and commitment to effective governance resonated with Edo’s citizens, aligning with APC principles.

“We are delighted that Senator Okpebholo’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of Edo’s citizens and his commitment to effective governance, aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) principles, endeared him with the electorate,” Ilevbare said.

According to him, the people of Edo have spoken decisively through the ballot, entrusting Senator Okpebholo with leadership—a testament to the triumph of truth, democracy, and trust.

The group appealed to the good people of Edo State and well-meaning Nigerians to rally support for the Governor-Elect in his effort to transform the state through his carefully planned manifesto.

Ilevbare further stated, ”This victory will propel the Governor-Elect to deliver purposeful governance, benefiting all, regardless of affiliations.”

The support group reiterated its commitment to stand by, work with, and support Senator Okpebholo, urging the Governor-Elect to extend fellowship to opponents and inviting collaboration to serve the state.

Expressing his profound gratitude to their leaders, he said, “We sincerely appreciate the distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomole, Rt. Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, OON, DSSRN (house leader), and other leaders for their sacrificial contributions.“
