The 2023 Euromoney Awards for Excellence have named Zenith Bank Plc the “Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria.”

The bank said in a statement on Wednesday that the honor highlighted the firm’s exceptional accomplishments in providing cutting-edge digital financial solutions.

Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, the Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, commented on the honor, saying, “We are delighted to receive the distinction as the Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria.
“This accolade serves as a validation of Zenith Bank’s trailblazing initiatives in integrating advanced technology within Nigeria’s financial services sector.
“Our commitment to expanding the horizons of digital financial services is unwavering, and we will persist in our efforts to innovate and deliver enhanced value to our customers and stakeholders.”
At a time when the potential of technology in banking had not yet been fully realized, Onyeagwu continued by dedicating the award to Jim Ovia, the founder and chairman of Zenith Bank Plc, for his innovative approach to integrating technology into banking and creating an exemplary model for service delivery.
The bank boss also expressed gratitude to the personnel for their unwavering commitment to creating a powerful financial institution, the board for their direction, and the bank’s customers for their steadfast support.

Since their establishment in 1992, Euromoney’s Awards for Achievement have honored achievement in the international banking sector.
A record number of bank submissions were submitted for this year’s edition of the regional and national awards program, which encompasses more than 50 regional awards and the best bank awards in 100 nations.
