Nigerian street-pop musician Habeeb Badmus, popularly called Portable, was declared the winner of the celebrity boxing match against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha on Wednesday.

The fight, organized by Heritage Boxing Entertainment and staged at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State, began about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, and lasted approximately 40 minutes.

After the fourth round, officials declared the controversial musician the winner of the bout against Okocha.

After Portable claimed contractual concerns, which escalated to an internet battle over a purported N40m rip-off, the duo ultimately settled their scores with their fists.

The ‘Ogo forever’ crooner  alleged Okocha defrauded him by only paying him a small amount, in violation of a contractual agreement.
Portable won the belt and cemented his standing as the deserved champion in the hard-fought contest.
