The registration dates for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) have been released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

In a statement issued on Sunday, JAMB stated that interested candidates can now begin creating their profiles on the JAMB website, with the formal sale of application documents expected to commence on Monday, January 15th, 2024.

It further stated that potential candidates had six weeks to complete their registration, until Monday, February 26.

The Board noted that the registration fee for the 2024 UTME varies depending on whether a candidate wishes to participate in the optional mock exam, adding that candidates opting for the mock exam will pay N7,700, while those opting out will pay N6,200.

Prior hitherto, the JAMB application form cost N5,700 if it did not include a mock exam, and N6,700 if it did.

“Sale of Application Documents for Foreign Candidates: $30,” it added.

According to the Board, the registration process for those seeking admission through direct entry begins later, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and ends on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The 2024 UTME mock examination will be administered on Thursday, March 7, 2024, allowing students to evaluate their preparedness and discover areas for improvement prior to the actual exam, and applicants will be able to print their examination slips beginning Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

The UTME will last ten days, beginning on Friday, April 19th, 2024, and ending on Monday, April 29th, 2024.
